HW did AMAZING work for us. They expanded our driveway, built a beautiful retaining wall and paver step walkway. They’re hard working and the finished work is impeccable. We could not be happier. Henry and Walter came out to my house last year and quoted me a new patio. They were both incredibly friendly and very detail oriented. They're price was head and shoulders better than two other companies I had come out. Not only was the price better but the work was top notch. The finished patio looks incredible. Flash forward to this year and Henry and Walter were my first call for a retaining wall out in the front of my house. The price was excellent and work was second to none. They'll always be my go to call. Good quality work at a fair price.
After replacing my water service and sewer lines I needed to replace my concrete driveway. Henry at HW responded the same day I called to give me an estimate. He was professional and very easy to work with. HW wasn’t the cheapest and weren’t the most expensive estimate I received but they were absolutely the right choice for the job and worth every single solitary dollar. My new driveway looks phenomenal and the paving stone walkway they installed looks so fabulous that my wife and I can’t stop going to the window to look at it. Without hesitation I would hire HW again for my next project. They’re top shelf.
Working with HW was a great experience! They are extremely professional and easy to work with. They are very reliable and were able to understand my vision of what I had in mind for my walkway, patio and landscaping and implement it. They work very efficiently and keep the worksite clean. These guys did a beautiful job replacing an old retaining wall with a beautiful red / gray block wall with charcoal gray caps on top. They added a really cool touch by curving the wall as it reaches our sidewalk. This gives the wall a very open feel. Thanks...... Hw

Henry and the guys give me a fair quote and immediately went to work and were done in less than a week. I got my front porch, planters, two walkways and a medium sized concrete slab for my AC unit all done for a very reasonable price compared to other quotes I received. You will not be disappointed.

After struggling to find a contractor to fix the broken pavers and loose railing on my patio, I came across a flyer for HW in the mail. I figured I would give them a call to see if they could help me. Henry responded quickly and came by to prepare an estimate. We agreed on a price and scheduled a start date. Henry and his crew came on time and got to work. My wife and I had to be away for the day but the crew chief, Jesus, saw that the job got finished in one day. They were finishing up as we got home. We couldn’t be happier with the job. The railing was fixed. The broken pavers and blocks were replaced. The patio was power washed and sand was applied. Everything looks great. We highly recommend HW!
Beautiful Work for a Reasonable Price. HW Landscaping and Hardscaping installed a 10 x 10 patio in the "far back" of our property the first time I hired them. The second time they replaced 3 squares of the public sidewalk by the street in front of our house, made a short walkway through the pachysandra in the front so delivery people won't trample my landscaping, replaced a sidewalk along the side of my house from the front to the backyard, and made extensive patches to the existing concrete deck that once surrounded the in-ground swimming pool that we filled in order to make a garden behind our home. Both times all other contractors refused even to give me a bid for "such a small job that is so labor intensive." Each time I requested a bid from Henry he came out that very day. For the small patio he have me a bid on the spot. For the renovation work, he e-mailed me a bid the next day. Each time he began work the following week. Both times he completed the work within days. His crew is polite, professional, and incredibly hard-working. They begin work quickly, work with great determination, and leave the site immaculate. I give HW Hardscaping and Landscaping my highest recommendation.
Henry was great to work with. He combined my initial ideas with his professional suggestions and the end result was awesome. Pavers were installed in a grassy space that was unused. He created a space for a large planter focal point and the patio entry was flanked by same stone used in the planter bed. They worked carefully around an existing tree and also placed stone against the home to prevent prior rain drip line indentations in another flower bed. There was an Initial mix-up with the pavers we selected; however, Henry immediately addressed this and made sure the correct pavers were installed. Most importantly, prior to hiring HW Landscaping & Hardscaping we expressed the importance of not having rainwater flow towards the home. Within a week of project completion, we experienced 3 consecutive days of heavy downpour and the rainwater flowed away from the property. We are extremely pleased with the results and the new space created by Henry and his team!!!!
We made the mistake of not originally hiring HW for our project, and ended up with one of the worst patios any has ever seen from a different company. Upon realizing our mistake, we called HW back out and they gave us a more than fair quote to remove and replace our patio disaster. The entire project was completed in under 2 weeks. They even suggested a drainage system to protect our back door from letting in any water, due to the grade of our yard and new patio. It was a pleasure to work with HW Landscaping and Hardscaping, and we would highly consider hiring them again for additional projects.
They did everything that they said they would. We would recommend them to anyone who needed any kind of cement/paver work done. They told us how many days it would take and they actually finished sooner. Left the yard clean and neat. Great deal for the price.
Hired Henry and his team for a paver patio project. An unused grassy area was turned into an awesome place to entertain and relax. Henry combined my ideas with his professional expertise. We created a space for a large planter, flower bed around an existing tree and flower bed adjacent to wall. The flower bed adjacent to wall has the same stone used in planter bed and patio entry (which helps to prevent prior indentations from roof rain drip line. Mulch and some new planting was done to go along with existing plants. There was an initial mix-up with pavers selected and Henry immediately addressed it and made sure the correct paver choice was installed. Most importantly we were concerned about a contractor making sure rainwater did not flow toward the home. About one week after project completion we had 3 consecutive days of heavy rain and the rainwater successfully flowed away from the house. We are very pleased with the workmanship, professionalism and price of Henry and his team!!!! Time to enjoy the outdoors! Will definitely hire for any additional projects.
